Time to prep your meals! But where to start?

Keep it simple. No need to get fancy just yet!

A good rule of thumb is to stay away from the middle aisles (pantry items, chips, cookies & processed foods) in the grocery store, the edges are where all the good stuff is at!




Don't forget your reusable shopping bags 😉

Here's a short list to get you started - you can be as creative or simple as you like with what you decide to make!


Produce:

• Mixed greens

• Any berries

• Apples

• Bananas

• Mushrooms

• Onions

• Cucumbers

• Carrots

• Broccoli


Protein:

• Chicken Breast

• Salmon/Choice of Fish Filet

• Lean Pork Chops

• Sliced Turkey

• Ground Turkey

• Turkey Bacon

• Eggs


Dairy:

• Greek Yogurt

• Cottage Cheese

• Goat Cheese

• 2% Milk or Almond Milk


Carb Sources:

• Brown Rice

• Oatmeal

• Protein Pancake Mix

• Tortillas

• Multigrain English Muffins


Snacks:

• Salsa with Flat Pretzels

• Veggies with Ranch dip

• Apples with Peanut Butter

• Mixed Nuts

• Granola Bars

• Health Popcorn
